Role Overview
Kalpanix is looking for a high-performance Sales Manager to drive B2B software sales growth in Eastern India. The role requires a mix of strategic planning, field execution, enterprise sales, and team building.
You will be responsible for expanding market presence across industries like manufacturing, logistics, steel, cement, mining, and infrastructure.
A sales manager’s core responsibility is to develop strategies, manage sales teams, and achieve revenue targets while expanding customer base .
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Sales Ownership (Eastern India)
- Own complete P&L and revenue targets for Eastern India
- Build and execute region-specific go-to-market (GTM) strategy
- Identify high-potential cities and industrial clusters
- Drive enterprise and mid-market B2B sales
2. B2B Software Sales Execution
- Sell Kalpanix products:
- Crystal MES
- Crystal Order
- Crystal Visitor
- Crystal Cash
- eWeighbridge
- Handle complete sales cycle:
- Lead generation → Demo → Proposal → Negotiation → Closure
- Manage long sales cycles (industrial / enterprise clients)
3. Pipeline & Revenue Management
- Build and maintain strong sales pipeline
- Track conversion using CRM tools
- Forecast monthly, quarterly, yearly revenue
- Ensure quota achievement and growth targets
(Sales managers typically oversee pipeline, targets, and conversion performance )
4. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Acquire new B2B clients (Hunter role)
- Manage and grow existing accounts (Farmer role)
- Build strong relationships with:
- Factory owners
- Operations heads
- Plant managers
- CIO / IT heads
5. Team Building & Leadership
- Hire, train, and manage regional sales executives
- Set targets and monitor performance
- Conduct weekly reviews and coaching sessions
- Drive high-performance sales culture
(Leadership and team management are core expectations of modern sales managers )
6. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Analyze competitors and pricing
- Identify new product opportunities
- Provide feedback to product team
- Track industry trends (Manufacturing, Logistics, ERP, MES)
7. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work
- Work with:
- Marketing (lead generation)
- Product team (feature feedback)
- Implementation team (customer onboarding)
- Ensure smooth transition from sales → delivery
KPIs (Performance Metrics)
- Monthly / Quarterly Revenue Target
- Number of New Clients Acquired
- Deal Closure Ratio (%)
- Average Deal Size
- Pipeline Value & Conversion Rate
- Regional Market Penetration
